Who do we invest in?

Phoenix invests in early-stage Ukrainian tech companies, from the pre-seed (no revenue) and MVP (limited revenue) stages to companies with EUR 250,000 to 1 million in revenues and strong growth. The Fund will also make follow-on investments in portfolio companies based on performance.

Startup

We invest primarily in early-stage tech startups, with up to 1M € in revenue.

Ukraine

We only invest in companies with at least one Ukrainian founder and a significant team in Ukraine.

Inclusive

We are heavily involved in promoting inclusivity at every level of our portfolio companies.

University

We are deeply involved in R&D and University labs. We support researchers and help them create their startups.

Tech

We love tech, all the tech but only tech! Software and hardware, we are open to all.

Growth & Follow

We support the growth of our top-performing startups and invest in follow rounds. We are with our startups for the long term.

Our startups have the potential to access eo Business Incubator before we invest, to become “investment ready.”
We have a global network of more than 75 mentors to support individually each of our portfolio companies.

We are an international team of entrepreneurs and ecosystem players.
We actively support the international growth of our startups with our physical presence in the US (Silicon Valley, New York) and Europe and our network in Asia.

Meet our team

We are a team of experienced managers, investors, and mentors with deep roots in Ukraine and its tech ecosystem. We have years of experience in Silicon Valley, bringing several companies to IPO’s or exits, but also building the largest European innovation center & accelerator programs in Ukraine.

We have a deep relationship with Ukraine, and most of us have lived or are still living there. But we are also a global team, with some of us living in New York, Silicon Valley, or Europe.

And we know how to build and grow a tech startup. Because we have done it before and we have mentored hundreds of tech entrepreneurs over the years.
